House Fire Update
We are adjusting to being back at Mom's house, hard to believe its been 2 months already! We do plan on rebuilding, not really any other option, unless we wanted to move out of Aneta. So maybe by this time next year, we will be in our new house. We're not really looking forward to the hassle of everything, but know in the end it will be good. This house will be a bit bigger, a somewhat different layout, I will get my sunroom that I've always wanted, maybe a hot tub, so in the end if Doug and I don't kill each other, it will be better than before! We did manage to save some pictures, my good china, farm records, and some other misc. stuff. So at least we have some of our old things. But like Doug said, if we were going to move now would be a good time, because we don't have much to move! So we hope everything will work out. This homeless feeling really sucks! Anyway, we're all doing good, just thankful for a place to stay. So hopefully we won't get on Mom's nerves! Take care! Mary

Mary & Doug....good to hear an update! I'm sure the whole fire and dis-placed living is really hard on you both. I can't even imagine. Many prayers for you both. Years ago John & I built a new home and we tried to make a pack to not argue about the whole house building thing because we would probably only do it once in our life time....and it worked. Actually working together in the yard has always been good for our marriage. It puts us together on the same level...tired, dirty and sweaty. How exciting to get your sun room...I have always wanted one! Good luck & much love
Michigan Moyers!
What a great idea, especially for the cousins to keep in touch with each other. Fun to read..I got home on Tueday afternoon from Texas. Time went too fast as always, and now at home I have lots of book work to catch up on for the Aneta Homes. Spring brings about 7 of my tenants to need recertifying before May 1.
Sure nice to come home to "live" bodies in my house. Mary comes home and fixes supper...she's a good cook, and her home made ww bread and buns are out of this world..I have quit baking bread for just myself, so its really special.
Spring has arrived in Aneta!! Love to all, Joanne J.
